Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her work. She is a proponent of the rights of animals. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most well-known films. New York was her home and she was brought up in a creative environment. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant before moving on to modeling and acting. The actress was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was a promising young actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major hit and fetched her worldwide fame as well as an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. In just three films, she became the top female box office star in the entire world. In 1972 her hand-footprints and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other films she has appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw's been married three different times.
