April Bowlby is an American model and actress. The actress is famous for her role as Kandi and Stacy Barrett from Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr and Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actor best known for playing Stacy Barrett in the American television show of the same name, which is a legal comedy and fantasy. Drop Dead Diva and Kandi in the comedy series Two and a Half Men. Her modeling career started with modeling and later she moved onto films and television series. Following her appearance as an extra to the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and in one-episode parts on other series, her debut on television was in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In Two and a Half Men she was cast as Kandi. Her role of Stacy Barrett in the popular series Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby an immense amount of attention throughout the world. She played Rita Farr/Elastigirl. She was a frequent character in the American show Titans. The character she played will be featured in the upcoming spinoff Doom Patrol. Bowlby was in TV movies like Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. After appearing in The Slammin Salmon (which was her debut film) as well as From Prada, to Nada she debuted in the big screen with All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby was raised in Manteca and went to East Union High School. She was a ballet student and French in Moorpark College before deciding to take on an acting career. She studied with Ivana Chaubbuck and landed an appearance on a TV program (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) just a few months after the Hollywood audition. Bowlby has been on numerous TV programs such as CSI as Kaitlin Rackish in 2004's CSI: NY in 2005 as Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005. She also appeared on Stacked as Jasmine in 2005 as well as How I Met Your Mother in the role of Meg in 2007. Bowlby appeared as Natasha Recently, she was as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home, a movie from 2007 which follows a young girl that loses her mother to a car accident. Bowlby will be in the comedy film The Slammin Salmon as Mia. The actress lives in Los Angeles. She is a redhead, with blue eyes. She's not married and has no children.
